DescriptionWhy is this stay fit for a remote worker

An ideal space for remote workers. This cozy ground-floor bedroom, located in an 1887 Victorian house in the historic Curtis Park neighborhood, near the River North (“RiNo”) Arts District, features a loft bed & computer desk with monitor. A great location to explore - 1.5 miles from Downtown Denver, 3 blocks from light rail, 1-2 blocks from bus lines, 1 block from park. Easy access to freeway, walking distance from restaurants, bars, cafés, shopping, nightlife, arts, and entertainment.

The space
This unique space is my own personal office when I am at home in Denver and working remotely, and it also doubles as bedroom that can sleep two. Nestle in for a good night's stay in the queen-sized loft bed, featuring a luxuriously made memory foam mattress. Beneath the loft, you will find a computer desk, complete with a 32-inch monitor, HDMI cable, and ergonomic keyboard tray (you will need to bring your own keyboard and mouse.) This room also has all of the amenities including a 32" Smart TV for all of your streaming entertainment, relaxing mood lighting from Himalayan salt lamps, spacious closet for all of your belongings, chargers for your electronics, and bedside tray for your personal items. Central AC/Heat, personal space heater, and remote controlled wall fan to help you create the perfect temperate environment for your stay. Whole-house water filtration system for healthier showers and chlorine-free drinking water out of every tap. White noise machines and light-darkening curtains to help you get a good night's rest. Coffee, tea, snacks, cooking oil and spices for all your food preparation needs.

COMMON SPACES

The house has a fully equipped kitchen with a range, oven, microwave, and Nuwave infrared oven, as well as a dining room and large living room with a gas stove (which you will be free to use). You will also have access to the backyard with a deck, patio, and gas grill.

Guest access
You will have keyless access to the house through the front door and back doors and keyless entry to your room. Other than the bedroom you have access to the shared bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry, backyard and deck.

Other things to note
This is a residential home that is lived in. There may be a dish in the sink or other signs that the home is being used. The owner, long-term tenant and their guests may be present at times.

Also, this is a Victorian home, built in the 1880's. As this is an older home, it may not be as perfectly temperature regulated as a hotel room (though I make every effort to make a comfortable environment, with personal space heaters and ceiling fans.) Also, though I have a large water heater, there are three showers in the house, and as is the case in any large, communal household, it is possible to run out of hot water at times.

I may or may not be in town at the time of your stay. Your primary contact will be my onsite co-host and resident Jacquie, she occupies the master bedroom, upstairs across the hall from your suite. When I am staying in the house, I occupy the downstairs bedroom. I work a 9-5 job, and I am usually in bed early on weeknights and usually like to keep things quiet, but sometimes stay up later on the weekends, and may sometimes make some noise. Jacquie utilizes the basement for sound design and practicing music where you can not hear it from the Airbnb bedrooms, you may occasionally hear it from the kitchen or mudroom. I will play the music in the basement, but I may be out and about in other parts of the house. Occasionally I will have a guest over.

Cleaning people who do not live in the house may be present at times.

Also, please note: I do not have a secure area for luggage, but you may drop off your bags in the living room before check-in on the day of arrival and keep them there after check-out on the day of departure.

As far as guest fit goes, I am looking for someone who is quiet on the weekdays, and okay with the occasional noise and music.
